Ekadashi is celebrated on the 11th day of the lunar fortnight, and this year's Kamika Ekadashi will take place on Wednesday, August 4th. There are two Ekadashis inside a month, one on Krishna Paksha and another on Shukla Paksha. As a consequence, each calendar year there are 24 Ekadashis. Thus every Ekadashi, on the other hand, has its own character and symbolism.

Kamika Ekadashi is the Ekadashi of Shravan as per the Purnimant schedule or Ashadha as per the Amavasyant schedule, Krishna.

Know About Kamika Ekadashi Vrat

  • Early in the morning, get up and take a bath.
  • In your mind, recite a Ganesha prayer.
  • The puja must be done at the house's northeast corner.
  • Fill a brass Kalash (small vessel) with water and set it aside. Put arecanut (supari) and moong in it. Cap the vessel's top with Ashoka tree leaves. Using a coconut, cover the vessel top.
  • Keep that Kalash on a yellow cloth in the room's northeast corner.
  • Keep a photograph of Vishnu in his Sridhar form.
  • Cow ghee is used to light the lamp.
  • Natural agarbatti or guggal dhoop.
  • Colorful flowers in red and yellow were also offered.
  • Give red Chandan and put it on your forehead later.
  • Bring a banana that is yellow.
  • Bring a kesar or saffron-flavored treat. The Prasad or bhog must be distributed with the kids after the ritual.
  • Tulsi should be given.
  • Now recite the mantra "Om Sreedharaya Namah".
  • After the puja, all-natural items must be dug up and buried.
  • A sweet must be made with coconut.
  • Bring seven peepal leaves in puja for such a transformation in financial fortunes and keep them in the location wherever you put cash and other valuables.
